What we do

Our workshop and studio is set in the south downs national park in between Petworth and Midhurst, it is a really nice place to work...we love it!!  When you visit you can see where we make all of our work.  We can talk you through the full process so you understand exactly what you are getting.  We have samples of our windows, doors, timbers and ironmongery for you to see.  All we need from you are dimensions, budget and most importantly ideas of what you like.  We can help with the rest.  You will be meeting with Benjamin Hill the director of Green Man Joinery.  Ben will be more than happy to help produce CAD drawings of your project and prepare samples if needed.  We have a very reliable team of joiners and project managers that work closely on all our productions.

Working with private clients we offer a full design service for all joinery and cabinet work.  We can help you match existing styles or create something new from images you like.
Working with trade clients we ask that you send us drawings and specifcations to allow us to price the work.

It is worth noting that where possible we try and use all our offcuts to provide heat in the workshop. We have got a wonderful briquette making machine that turns all sawdust (there's a lot!) into briquettes that we can burn in our industrial wood burner.  We try our best to minimize waste.

When we're not at the workshop...

Ben has a real passion for surfing and most other sea based sports.  The workshop doubles up as wonderful surfboard/paddle board storage with a bespoke handmade surfboard rack pride of place in the office!!

We are a family run business so spend lots of time with our families outside of work also.  Everyone has dogs at the workshop (sometimes in the workshop if they're well behaved!!) so we do lots of dog walking which quite often ends at the pub.  We try and go to watch live music as much as possible as music is a massive part of everyones lives...if you visit the workshop you will see Ben's homemade speakers in pride of place above the spray booth, you've got to have a good soundtrack whilst you're crafting.
